Felix Pollock

I am a Research Fellow in Monash University’s School of Physics and Astronomy, where I have worked since completing my doctoral studies at the University of Oxford in 2014. My research interests lie primarily in the field of open quantum systems theory, where I apply tools and concepts from quantum information theory to characterise and simulate complex quantum processes. I am particularly interested in dynamics involving significant memory effects, where information about a system’s past behaviour is ‘remembered’ by its environment, going on to influence its future evolution.
